Different tape constructions are offered in order to provide customers with options on "hand" (stiffness), opaqueness, and price. They are all first quality goods, but contain different features:
| 82xx | This construction has been recently improved to be an economical tape, with reasonably good hand and opaqueness. |
| 84xx | Available at the same price as the 82xx, this construction offers more stiffness and opaqueness. |
| 850xx | This is a much heavier, denser product. The construction has significant more shine, or luster, than the above styles. |
 In addition to our standard colors we dye practically all other
colors, from "glow in the dark" to "day glow" colors. Perhaps
the most successful programs are when customers provide fabric
samples and request us to produce a tape matching a specific color. |
Readers may be suprised to learn that an international standard
of colors exists. Pantone® Textile Color Guide system is available
from Pantone, Inc. Pantone color guides contain 1701 colors. This
provides a reference for colors without having to send samples
back and forth. (Pantone can be accessed via www.pantone.com
One can purchase a CD-ROM, or a printed set of the 1700 plus colors
on either paper or fabric.

Lurex Tapes
In additional to our standard tapes, Textile Tape Weavers offers
a series of tapes manufactured with lurex and sparkle yarns.
In order to highlight the special yarn used in these tapes, the
pattern is slightly different. Three variations are available:
1. Lurex yarn woven in diagonal throughout the tape
2. Lure yarn woven in diagonal in tape's center
3. Lure yarn woven in straight line in tape's center
Because the lure yarn costs almost 10 times as much as conventional yarn, the finished tape is much more costly. Variation 1 is the most expensive. The price for style 2 and 3 is slightly higher than white. (And of course the tape can also be dyed into one of our standard 19 colors. The gold or silver lure is not affected.)
In addition, Textile Tape Weavers offers eight different lure yarn colors.

162 Sparkle Series
Beside the traditional lurex, Textile Tape Weavers has developed
a new construction: the 162 sparkle series (patents pending).
In place of the lurex we use a new type yarn that provides a glitter appearance which changes as one walks around the mattress. (It is very close to a holographic effect.)
We have found that the tape looks best in colors. All 19 of our standard colors are available in the sparkle lurex at the standard price.
